We wish to advise: James Reyne who was due to perform at the upcoming By The C concert has received advice from his medical experts 'not to perform'. We are pleased we have another great Australian artist to step into this day of sunshine and music - announcing Jon Stevens will now perform along with headliner John Farnham and fellow Australian artists The Black Sorrows and Ross Wilson.
By The C, a celebration of live music, food and community, is heading to Hervey Bay, hitting the pristine shores of Queensland's Fraser Coast for the first time in February 2018.
Lay back on your picnic rug, sip on a wine and enjoy the day of sensational music. Don't miss Mr Eagle Rock and two time ARIA Hall of Fame inductee, Ross Wilson, who has had a stellar career spanning more than 45 years and still regularly performing over 100 shows a year. You may be treated to favourites including Come Said The Boy, Eagle Rock and Cool World.
The Black Sorrows are one of the most enduring touring bands in the country, with no two performances ever the same. Their sound has become part of the Australian music culture with songs such as Shape I'm In and So Young. The classics include Harley & Rose, Chained to The Wheel and The Chosen Ones.
As the day turns to dusk, you can revel in the raw vocal power of Noiseworks' very own Jon Stevens. By The C may be treated to some of Jon's biggest hits including Touch, Take Me Back, No Lies and Hot Chilli Woman.
The night will end with the sounds of the nation's most successful solo artist, John Farnham. Winning 19 ARIA Awards, John Farnham continues to be 'The Voice' of Australian music, thrilling audiences with his onstage charisma and those unforgettable vocals. With hits from albums Whispering Jack and Age of Reason, like You're The Voice, Two Strong Hearts, Pressure Down, A touch of Paradise, Chain Reaction, That's Freedom (to name a few), this will be one show not to be missed.
Kick off your shoes for a dance on the grass or lay back and enjoy the music while the tunes drift out along the salty sea breeze and the sun sets on what will be a beautiful Queensland evening.
